Select UI Designs
A selection of UI work I have done for clients including Comcast, Jim Black Music Supervision etc.
Jim Black Music Supervision
This was the portfolio site I designed for Jim Black, a renowed hollywood music supervisor for Motion Pictures and Television — he has worked on over 80 films and tv shows, including Academy Award winners such as Black Swan, The Wrestler and HBO’s Treme and True Detective.

Haichang Ocean Park
I prepared these for a client pitch for an aquarium in Shanghai. Unfortunately I did not make it :( Still thought it was a good exercise. The blue text is the company's name "shanghai haichang" and the orange text means "ocean park".
The idea was pretty straight-forward: the apostrophe came from a stroke in the character "海"(means ocean) and also in the shape of a water drop symbolizing the aquarium. The whale silhouette was probably cheesy now looking at it. I spent a lot of time playing with composition to create depth and balance between the symbols and the characters.
Comcast Customer Experience
This approach goes after the theme of "movie posters". The bold and rounded san serif font emphasizes the "movie" look & feel. It's laid out on top of abstract architectural material surfaces which suggests the "structure & support" nature of the liftlabs. These poster concepts were part of my visual explorations centered around the three main themes: "media" - NBC, "connectivity" -Comcast and "entertainment" - Universal.
