  • Design Lead · Vaudeville Ventures (2015 - present)
  • I recruited, trained and led a team of 8 designers. I ran briefings, reviews and weekly training sessions to onboard new designers, manage workflows, solve issues and evaluates overall aesthetics throughout projects. I also initiated and ran an internship program, which helped grow our range of design capabilities and evolved our social media outreach. Here's our team portfolio.

  • Lead Product Designer · Adverator (2014 - present)
  • Adverator is an online marketplace that helps small/medium businesses discover, purchase, and manage all kinds of local advertising. I divided my time between design work and supervising 5 other designers. I coordinated a full rebrand, developed a modular/responsive visual system and optimized our design to dev workflow. I helped drive new product features from ideation to implementation. Here's a sneakpeak.

  • Visual Strategist · Vaudeville Ventures (2013 - 2015)
  • At vaudeville, we worked on digital innovation and product incubation for our clients (big companies like sothebys, comcast, madison square garden & startups like adverator, leanonwe & eleven james) my main role was to help clients establish creative visions for the product and then help carry them through - from verbal ideas, sketches, wires to high-fidelity mockups.

  • Intern · MTV/Viacom (2012)
  • I assisted the producers to create engaging content for MTV Iggy(Asia), MTV K(Korea) and MTV Desi(India). Our productions included photoshoots, live performance & interviews with international celebrities. With a focus on emerging Chinese indie music scene, I pitched content ideas for music shows, curated content, styles & packaging, and conducted extensive research on social media and news.

  • Watercolorcastle was a venture stemmed from my passion in watercolor paintings. I ran a boutique custom portrait shop on etsy. I managed every stages of the commission process and coordinated a group of artists to create 400+ beautiful and timeless portraits for our clients in 3 years.
